Happy Halloween!

We are Strawberry Shortcake and a strawberry this year.  

 Annabelle wobbles quite a bit in her costume- it was pretty puffy, but Bonnie did a good job showing her the ropes.

 Annabelle got in the swing of things pretty quickly.

 The big treat of the night was a snow cone- without syrup!  You would have thought it was the greatest treat ever!  Who needs sugar to have a good time?

 Annabelle was too little for the bounce house but she was happy to lean against it and let her head bump with all of the bounces.

It's finally Fall!

Fall in the Tennessee mountains is our favorite time of year!  A few weeks ago we paid a visit to Cleek Farms- they have lots of stuff for kiddos to do:

Our leaves have started to fall which will keep going until Christmas (!)  Lots of huge leaf piles to jump in

 Bonnie and Dad took a camping trip at the state park down the road- it lasted until 9:30 when Bonnie decided she didn't like camping as much as she thought-

 Annabelle and Mom showed up for roasting marshmellows- AB certainly enjoyed hers.

 We took a quick trip to Hilton Head for a long weekend- October is the best beach month!  plenty warm, no crowds and lots and lots of beach.  The night we got there we let the girls go and "look" at the water- of course it ended up being more than a quick look.

Whew!  We've had a lot of fun the last few weeks- Lots of hours in the car for Bonnie, and even though Annabelle stayed close to Mom and Dad she had some good times too.

Ate some delicious food

Visited Aunt Ali at work

Caught up with uncle JonJon and my soon to be Aunt Raya

Bonnie got to spend a few days in Texas too with Pops and Mimi

 Sticking our tongue on the water stream

 Visiting the neighbors farm

Annabelle enjoyed being an only child for a week
